Positive Impact hosts weekly social and discussion groups for individuals living with HIV, providing a non-judgmental space to socialize and discuss relevant topics.
Positive Impact
Positive Impact is a weekly social group that meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 PM, at our Kalamath House, located at 3815 Kalamath Street, Denver, CO 80211. We build community among those living with HIV through games, movies, and discussion. It’s a casual, fun environment to make new friends and forge connections. Food and snacks are provided.
Positive and interested in joining in some of our activities? Email info@TheDenverElement.org or call 720-382-5900. All information remains confidential.
Denver Element is a Ryan White provider, allowing us to provide programming free to attend.

PLHIV Counseling and Peer Support
Treatment plans are co-developed to address a myriad of issues including but not limited to: meth use, alcohol use, other drug use, trauma, self-esteem, effective coping skills, gender and sexual orientation development, and healthy living in a supportive environment free from judgment and shame, informed by the queer-lived experience. Our clinicians represent a diverse approach to therapy with various training and backgrounds; all grounded in trauma-informed care and through the shared experience of being queer ourselves. In addition to treatment, we offer case management, peer coaching, and prevention programming, especially for those currently living with HIV.
